Election Day Polling Places (June 23)
Election Day — Vote at Your Assigned Precinct
Unlike early voting, Election Day voting must be done at your specific assigned precinct.
If you vote at the wrong location on Election Day, you will be required to cast a provisional ballot, which takes more time to process.
Do not go to an early voting center on Election Day — they are only open during the early voting period (June 11–18).

Voter ID Requirements
Do You Need ID to Vote?
In most cases, Maryland does not require voters to present identification while voting.
However, ID may be required if:
- You registered to vote by mail and have never voted in a federal election in Maryland before
- Your identity is challenged at the polls
- You register to vote during early voting or change your address during early voting
Accepted forms of ID include:
- Maryland driver’s license or MVA-issued ID card
- Student or employee photo ID card
- Passport or other government-issued ID
- Current utility bill, bank statement, government check, or paycheck showing your name and address

Who Can Vote in Maryland?
To register to vote in Maryland, you must be:
- A United States citizen
- A Maryland resident
- At least 16 years old (to pre-register) or 18 years old by the next general election to vote
